Saturday Night BYOB Pottery Painting

Deeply Disappointed by the Way We Were Treated I visited the studio with two friends for what should’ve been a lovely evening pottery painting. We each paid the £8 booking fee, and I personally paid for my piece in full (£10.99) before leaving. My friends only had cash, and since the venue is card-only, a staff member clearly stated they could pay upon collection after firing. This was agreed at the time and noted down. Instead of reaching out privately, the owner To our shock, just hours later, the business owner publicly posted a photo on Instagram implying our group had left without paying — accusing us of “stealing from a small business.” I sent them a message directly to address the situation which was met with nothing but accusations, they took no accountability for how things were handled or for the internal miscommunication, and then went on to ban our entire group — including me, despite having paid in full and acting respectfully the entire time. I’ve been a loyal customer in the past and have always enjoyed my visits here, which makes this experience especially upsetting. There was absolutely no reason for this to escalate so publicly and aggressively — and I certainly won’t be returning after this.

I cannot reccomend house of glazed enough. It’s got such a warm lovely vibe, the staff are so helpful and kind, there’s so much choice to paint from, and the range of sessions provided means there really is something for everyone! I love coming here!!
